    Bokhara was a capital of Russia and also well known trading market for Turkome rugs, it is known that the repetitive design used in Bokhara rugs were the image of the Royal seal. Some rugs had smaller designs and some larger, after some time smaller size started to be known as prince Bokhara and larger design were know as royal Bokhara. 

    As mention above these were Tukomen tribal rugs, since they were shown in the market of Bokhara city once a year and traders or local buyers could only buy these rugs in this market. These rugs started to be known as Bokhara rugs.

    in 1950 Bokhara rugs got very famous and copies of these rugs were produced in Pakistan and were known as Pakistani Bokhara rugs. 

    Rug shown is that and were bought in Pakistan by our expert buyers in Lahore Pakistan.

    New Zealand wool and high quality color dyes are used
